Methodology
Every ranking on this site follows predefined public rules described on this page. No bank can pay for a position, and every data point carries its source and check date.
Loans
We take interest rates from the banks' official websites (representative examples) and rank them by the effective interest rate (EIR), because it includes fees and costs on top of the nominal rate. The monthly instalment is calculated as an annuity for the amount and term you enter. We only show offers that cover the requested amount and term, and banks with no data are clearly listed below the ranking.
Comparing accounts and banks
We compare banks on publicly available criteria — account maintenance fees, digital services, branch and ATM network — adjusted to the user profile (high school student, university student, employed, pensioner) and, if selected, the municipality. The network availability score is computed from the bank's actual number of locations in the chosen municipality.
Promotions
We automatically monitor the banks' official promotion pages and record every content change. The "New" badge is shown only for promotions that appeared after our initial snapshot of that bank's page. If we have no data for a bank, we say exactly that — not that the bank has no promotions.
Branches and ATMs
We collect branch and ATM addresses from the banks' official websites and enrich coordinates using public geocoding services. Locations change, so it is best to check opening hours on the bank's website before visiting.
Limitations
Data is refreshed automatically, but a bank may change its terms before our next check — that is why every entry carries a date. The site is informational and not financial advice: the final offer is always made by the bank after assessing your creditworthiness.
